EDC was born out of a need to service an existing client base that had been built by Exhibit A, a full-service exhibit house that was in Providence RI. Approximately 10 months after “9/11”, the economy had taken quite a plunge, and there was some fear that Exhibit A would be going out of business. However, Brett Lipeles, one of the partners there, had a thriving clientele, and that clientele required his services for a series of upcoming shows. Mr. Lipeles quickly established the new business entity at that time and the rest is history. Fortunately, Exhibit & Display Consultants has continued to thrive, whereas Exhibit A has gone the "way of the Dodo."
We
have built extensive contacts in the field including all of
the major convention centers, within many of the warehouses,
shipping organizations, labor companies and exhibit houses throughout
the country. Exhibit & Display Consultants has been running
projects including major trade show booth refurbishments and
extensive installations and dismantles in the field for nearly
4 years. Top management experience includes running the trade
show program and projects for 7.5 years as a trade show program
director of a Fortune 1000 company,
and 8+ years selling exhibits, pricing exhibits, building and
supervising trade show display and booth installation and dismantle
at many of the largest trade shows throughout the US.
Most recently we have launched the tradeshowexhibitguy.com
e-zine, and we just authored and will begin publishing the quintessential
guide to trade show exhibit management, the Professional
Exhibit Manager's Handbook in May of 2006. Both of these
"How-to" guides are designed to help you manage your
trade show exhibit in a way that saves valuable marketing funds
and makes your life at the tradeshow more enjoyable.
